I am Kateryna Myltsyna, mother of Yelysey Myltsin, a 1st-grade student at the comprehensive school "DieSlovo in Odesa".
My son and I live near the city of Odesa - in Chornomorsk. The son's father does not live with us. We have the status of internally displaced persons (IDPs) because of the war in our country. I value Adventist education very much, and I dream that my son would study in an Adventist school, because he grew up almost in the church since he was a child. But I'm afraid that my income will not be enough to pay for the full tuition at this school. Although my son's father helps us with money, my total income is not much. I am a beginner masseuse. It is very difficult to find a more profitable job now. I have no relatives who would help me. A large part of my total income is spent on housing rent, and the rest is spent on basic family needs — food, clothing, utilities, etc. At the same time, we live far from an Adventist school, so daily trips to school will be an additional tangible expense.
Currently, I can afford to pay 2000 hryvnias per month for education (≈49$). The full cost of monthly tuition is UAH 6,000 (≈146$) I will not be able to pay. Therefore, I am asking for help in the amount of UAH 4,000 (≈97$), which can provide an opportunity for my son to attend an Adventist school.
